Austin Moving from 3rd to 2nd “Tier” Status
The city is projected to double in size by 2017. Think about that! Double in size.
This once-sleepy college town is now a bona fide major American city, and one with ambitions to continue climbing in the ranks – not just in size, but in smart, well-planned growth, not sprawl.
If one looks, therefore, at the property values for a city of this caliber, one will notice they are still significantly under-valued for other comparable cities of its stature. There will be a period of “catch up”, while prices continue their upward climb until the city is more in line with other national cities’ values. At the risk of sounding like an infomercial, we have to say, “Get in now on the ground floor, while the getting is good.”
