Austin Property Tour

Many of our clients have never been to Austin (or Texas!) and want to visit to get a feel for the city, its topography, and the various areas for potential investment. We welcome you and a significant other (or investment partner), and highly recommend that you come to the city and take one of our “Austin Property Tours” that have garnered many rave reviews from our clients.

The property tour is an approximately four hour “rolling mini-seminar” through most key areas of the city - from the suburban South to the Tech Corridor Northwest, with side trips through downtown, the University of Texas area, and the west Austin Hill Country. Discussions are held on key economic benefits of the Central Texas region, as well as the merits of various neighborhoods and property types over the others. Our professional sales agents have deep knowledge about landlord/tenant issues, property management, maintenance expenses, and other issues specifically relevant to owning investment property. We believe in educating our clients, not applying high pressure sales tactics.

We look at single family homes, duplexes, and fourplexes in a variety of price ranges from $150,000 to $320,000 (or more depending on a specific client's needs). Some of the best cash flow properties are in the working class neighborhoods while some of the best equity appreciation potential properties are in more affluent neighborhoods - you'll get a feel for both types of properties and be able to make an educated decision as to which areas fit your goals the closest.

Property tours are capped at no more than three investors (and their significant others or investment partners), so there are never more than six people on a tour. They are usually held on Fridays, though some Saturdays are available. Private tours for previous clients, their immediate referrals, and volume buyers are available upon request.

We ask that you provide a pre-qualification letter from your lender prior to visiting, and only engage us if you're serious about Austin as an investment market. In return, we'll respect your busy schedule and reward you with an excellent tour and selection of investment properties.
